3 Irish Open Crown goes to Amateur Shane Lowry

Ireland’s is delighted to congratulate Shane Lowry on his stunning victory at the 3 Irish Open. The amateur from the Esker Hills club led the field from Friday but had to hold off strong competition from seasoned pros like Johan Edfors in the final round and then win a three round, 18th hole playoff against Englishman Robert Rock to claim the historic victory.
