Lucas Glover wins the US Open by 2 Strokes at Bethpage Black
Overcoming difficult weather conditions and late challenges for Phil Mickleson and David Duval, Lucas Glover shot a 72 hole 4 under par to win the 2009 US Open by 2 strokes. Mickelson, Duval and Ricky Barnes each shot 2 under par for the tournament. Tiger Woods shot a final round 1 under par to finish at even par for the tournament ending up tied for 6th place. Brian Gay leads the St. Jude Classic by 2 Strokes
American Brian Gay leads the field by 2 strokes at 10 under par in the weather-delayed 2nd round of the St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee. Gay and a tightly packed field at vying for the $1,00,000 winners check and 500 FedEx Cup points in a tune-up for next week's US Open at Bethpage Black (New York). Anna Nordqvist leads the McDonald's LPGA Championship by one stroke at 8 under par after 2 rounds at the Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, MD. The course is playing 6,641 yards this week during the 2nd leg of the LPGA 2009 Majors. Angela Stanford and Lorena Ochoa trail by 5 strokes at 3 under par. Bernhard Langher Takes the Triton Financial Tournament by Six Stokes (Champions Tour)
Germany's Bernhard Langer cruised to a 6 stroke margin of victory at Sunday's Triton Financial Tournament in Austin, Texas. Tiger Woods Wins the Memorial Tournament at 11 Under Par with a Drammatic Final Round Comeback
Tiger Woods game appears to truly be back. Woods shot a 7 under par final round to win Jack Nicklaus' Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio on Sunday by one stoke over Jim Furyk and a stunned field. Woods began the final round 5 shots off the lead and in his typical stalking fashion moved up the leaderboard.
